Springside Primary School - How to wirelessly connect to a classroom room TV


Staff can connect to classroom TVs wirelessly on Windows, iOS (iPad/iPhone) & MacOS (MacBook) devices.


Windows:


Step 1. Turn on your Room TV using the remote, if you are on the correct HDMI input you will see the following screen, the name of the display will appear in the top left:



Step 2. Press the following combination on your keyboard:



Step 3. A window will pop up, you can now click on the desired option from the Available Displays:



Step 4. During the connection prompt you will be asked for a PIN:



Step 5. The PIN will appear on the TV in the top left just below the display name:



Step 6. After entering the PIN, click Connect, in 10 to 15 seconds you should be connected to the TV successfully.



If you would like to disconnect from the TV simply press the Windows + K key combination:



And then click the Disconnect button in the bottom right:



(iPad/iPhone):


Step 1. Turn on your Room TV using the remote, if you are on the correct HDMI input you will see the following screen, the name of the display will appear in the top left:



Step 2. On your iPad/iPhone home screen, swipe down from the top right corner to open the Control Panel:



Step 3. With Control Panel open select the AirPlay option:



Step 4. Select the desired display from the list:



Step 5.  During the connection prompt you will be asked for a PIN:



Step 6. The PIN will appear on the TV in the top left just below the display name:



Step 7. After entering the PIN on the iPad click OK to connect:



If you would like to disconnect from the TV open the Control Panel, tap the AirPlay button and press Stop Mirroring:
