Important! If you have multiple headsets to pair please ensure you pair them one at a time as it can become confusing when multiple blue tooth devices appear with the same name. 


Step 1. Hold down the power button on the headphones for 3 to 5 seconds to turn on the headphones and initiate Bluetooth pairing.

Step 2. You can confirm the headphones are in pairing mode when the light next to the charging port begins flashing between blue and red.


 

Step 3. On the iPad open Settings > Bluetooth, confirm that Bluetooth is toggled on.

Step 4. The headset should appear under Devices as XCDBT23009, tap it to begin connecting.



 

Step 5. Once the pairing process is complete XCDBT23009 will appear under My Devices with the Connected status, the headphones will also audially say “Connected”.



Step 6. By tapping the ⓘ symbol next to Connected you can access options for the headphones.



Step 7. Tap the Name field.



Step 8. Change the default name of the headphones to something easily identifiable.



Step 9. Congratulations you have finished pairing and setup process, if you have renamed the connected headphones it will now be easier to identify if you ever need to re-pair them or to avoid confusion when pairing other headsets.
